At 7:30 p.m., the city will host a meeting for its Block Captains program, which entails residents acting as environmental organizers for small-scale cleanups around their neighborhoods. The meeting is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about the program.

Wednesday

The book club will meet at 1:30 p.m. to discuss "Bring Up the Bodes" by Hilary Mantel. It is free and open to the public.

Thursday

From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., a parent education class for new dads will be held at the hospital. The classes are held on the last Thursday of every other month. Registration is required by calling (732) 745-8579, and costs $25.

At 10 p.m., singer/songwriter Anthony Xerri will perform on the outdoor patio at Evelyns. There is no cover charge to attend. In the event of bad weather, Xerri will perform at next door.
