Three Fun Things to Do in New Brunswick This Weekend

It's never too early to begin planning for the weekend.

1. Rutgers Homecoming is scheduled for this weekend. A noon football game is scheduled against Houston on Saturday, Oct. 26, and many other events are scheduled throughout the weekend, including a charity race, a bar crawl and aa comedy show by Daily Show comedian John Oliver. Click here for more information

2. Take the kids to the Cook/Douglass Recreation Center, 50 Biel Road, at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25 for the 10th annual Monster Mash at Rutgers. Free and open to families from New Brunswick and the surrounding communities, the event features games, music and treats for grade school age children.

3. The Sugarloaf Crafts Festival is back in the area at the Garden State Exhibit Center in Somerset. Over 250 artists and crafters will have their creations on display between Friday, Oct. 25 and Sunday, Oct. 27.
