County Opens Cooling Centers to Provide Relief From Heat
Cooling Centers provide relief to those without air condition as temperatures expected to reach 100 degrees.

With temperatures expected to climb to 100 degrees, carrying with it humidity that will make it feel closer to 100 degrees, several designated Cooling Centers throughout Bergen County are open to offer relief to residents.
The Cooling Centers are located in the following areas:
County Administration Building: (8:30 am to 5:00 pm) Multi-Purpose Room, first floor, One Bergen County Plaza, Hackensack (201) 336-7300.

Rutherford Senior Center (8:30 am to 4 pm) 55 Kip Center, Rutherford (201) 460-1600.
The following cooling centers will be open through Friday, from 10:00 am through 6:00 pm as needed:
