With temperatures expected to climb to 100 degrees, carrying with it humidity that will make it feel closer to 100 degrees, several designated Cooling Centers throughout Bergen County are open to offer relief to residents.  The Cooling Centers are located in the following areas:  County Administration Building: (8:30 am to 5:00 pm) Multi-Purpose Room, first floor, One Bergen County Plaza, Hackensack (201) 336-7300. Rutherford Senior Center (8:30 am to 4 pm) 55 Kip Center, Rutherford (201) 460-1600. The following cooling centers will be open through Friday, from 10:00 am through 6:00 pm as needed:  Northwest Bergen Multipurpose Senior Activity Center: 46-50 Center St., Midland Park (201) 445-5690 Bergenfield Senior Center: 239 Murray Hill Terrace, Bergenfield (201) 387-7212. Southwest Bergen Multipurpose Senior Activity Center: 147 Hackensack St., East Rutherford (201) 935-8920
