The BCUA will be conducting a household hazardous waste (hhw) collection event on Sunday, Oct. 16th at Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus Rd. in Paramus between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. rain or shine. Open to Bergen County residents with proper identification.
Acceptable materials include:
- aerosol cans
- anti-freeze
- rechargeable batteries
- mercury switches
- propane gas cylinders
- used motor oil
- paints and varnishes
- used oil filters
- fluorescent light bulbs
- insecticides
