The New Milford Quilters will meet for their Winter/Spring season on Monday, January 7 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the New Milford Public Library.
Quilters make a variety of sizes, such as baby quilts, throws, wall hangings and twin size quilts. These are made by hand or by machine. Visitors are welcome to stop in, see the quilters at work and receive a "free learning square" for a start.
The group is sponsored by the New Milford Recreation Commission. Membership is open to all ages and skill levels. Current members are from New Milford, Bergenfield, River Edge, Hackensack and Maywood. The cost is $20 for 10 sessions. For more information, please call Marie at 201-265-8739.
