The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory warning for minor flooding in poor drainage areas.  According to the National Weather Service, a line of heavy showers and thunderstorms are moving east across central New Jersey along with a cluster of heavy showers and thunderstorms moving north along the New Jersey coast towards New York City.  Predicted maximum hourly rainfall rates are expected to range from 1 to 1 1/2 inches per hour.
