Freezing Rain Advisory for Bergen County in Effect Until 11 a.m. Sunday
Forecasters predict ice to be less than a tenth of an inch in Western Bergen County and "around a trace" for the Eastern part of the county.

The National Weather Service has issued a Freezing Rain Advisory for Bergen County from 3 to 11 a.m. Sunday, citing temperatures in the upper 20’s could cause ice accumulations.
In Western Bergen County, forecasters predict ice to be less than a tenth of an inch, and only “around a trace” for the Eastern part of the county.
“A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties,” reads the advisory. “Be prepared for slippery road. Slow down and use caution while driving.”

Temperatures for most of Bergen County will be in the 40’s during the afternoon, with rain stopping Sunday evening.
