Council Looks at Employee Health Care Switch
Employee medical benefits and budget review on the agenda for tonight's work session.

The mayor and council will hold a work session tonight in the conference room on the second floor of borough hall at 7 p.m.
At the March 19 special budget meeting of the mayor and council, Councilman Austin Ashley requested that a comparison be done between the State Health Benefits Plan (SHB) and the current plan that Art Caughlan, the borough's risk manager, negotiated. Caughlan will be on hand at tonight's meeting to offer his findings.
In addition to reviewing the proposed budget, the mayor and council will be discussing the Bergen County Utilities Authority (BCUA) Amnesty program for illegal connections to sanitary sewers; Bergen County policy on ownership, maintenance and repairs of culverts; the Field Sub-Committee report and the Beautification Committee ordinance draft.
