The New Milford Knights 6th grade Travel Basketball Team was recently recognized by the mayor and council for their outstanding season. The undefeated Knights were crowned 2012 BTBL Champions in the National Division, ending the season with a 16-0 record.  Parents and family members in attendance were grateful for the boys' recognition given to the boys by Mayor Ann Subrizi and members of the council. "I would like to thank Mayor Subrizi and the Council of New Milford for honoring and recognizing the players and the coaches accomplishment," said assistant coach Edwin Maniago.   "The players were so proud representing our town. They played with determination, commitment and sportsmanship," he added.  The Knights team was led by Head Coach Russell Johnson, Assistant Coach Edwin Maniago and Assistant Coach David Morfe.
