NM Road Runners Look For 2014 Marathoners

The New Milford Education Foundation Road Runners Club is looking to build a team of ten marathon runners for 2014. They have three already.

Want to go for a jog? It’s for a good cause. How about a 26.2-mile jog? They call that a marathon.

The New Milford Education Foundation Road Runners Club is looking to assemble a team of locals to do just that.

The Road Runners hope to assemble a team of ten of of their neighbors to take up the challenge of running their first marathon in 2014. If that goal is reached, nine of these participants will be traveling to Bar Harbor, Maine to compete in next year’s Mount Desert Island Marathon. This particular marathon isfeatured in Men’s Health as a on of the 11 Races to Run Before You Die.
