• Holiday Drunk Driving Crackdown Kicks Off In NJ (patch.com) — New Milford police will receive $7,000 as part of New Jersey’s “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” holiday crackdown, meaning more local patrols and checkpoints between Dec. 5 and Jan. 1. The campaign, funded with over $700,000 statewide, targets impaired driving during a period when alcohol-related crashes typically rise.
