Public to Take Final Stand Against 'Over Development' at Zoning Board Meeting

Tuesday is the public's final chance to present their evidence against development of a vacant property adjacent to New Milford High School to the Zoning Board.

Tuesday's 7:30 p.m. Zoning Board meeting is the final chance for the public to present their case against the development of the United Water property by Hekemian. Click here to see the agenda.

Hekemian wants to develop the land for a 70,000 sq. ft. supermarket, a 4,300 sq. ft. bank and 24 low housing units. A grass roots group in New Milford, SOD (Stop Over Development), has been leading the charge against the development of the currently unused land.

Let us know in the comments section if you are planning to attend the meeting and why you feel that the land should or should not be developed.
