United States Senate candidate <a href="https://clark.patch.com/groups/new-jersey-news/p/rand-paul-slams-booker-obama-says-lonegan-can-win-in-nj">Steve Lonegan</a> (R) will be having a discussion with supporters in New Milford on Monday evening. Lonegan, who recently <a href="http://www.nj.com/politics/index.ssf/2013/09/steve_lonegan_praises_rahm_emanuel_bashes_cory_booker_in_jersey_city.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">criticized Democratic candidate Cory Booker</a> for his handling of a series of shootings in Newark last week, is bringing his fundraising efforts to New Milford. The evening will begin with a VIP reception from 6:30 – 7 p.m. that will require a $1,000 donation. A general fundraising reception will follow from 7 – 8 p.m. and has a suggested $150 donation. The event will take place at a residence located at 618 River Road.
