
It's Red Ribbon Week at the schools this week. Red Ribbon Week raises awareness of the dangers of drugs and alcohol and the guidance department has arranged daily themes around Red Ribbon Week. Students are encouraged to participate.
Monday everyone should wear red; Tuesday is team jersey day; Wednesday is sweatpants and sweatshirt day; Thursday is crazy hair day; and Friday is inside out day.
There will be a public meeting of the Mayor and Council Monday at 7:45 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Borough Hall. There will be a 7:00 p.m. work session in the conference room on the second floor of Borough Hall prior to the meeting.

Tuesday there will be a meeting of the New Milford High School PTO at 7 p.m. in the Library at NMHS.
Berkley Elementary School will be hosting its annual Book Fair Wednesday through Friday. Family Night is Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The PTO will be hosting a Trunk or Treat from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The David E. Owens Middle School PTO will be hosting a cupcake sale Thursday after school. All cupcakes are $1.
Gibbs Elementary School is hosting a Spooktacular in the gym from 7p.m. to 9p.m. Friday evening.
