Woman Sexually Assaulted After Meeting Men in Bar: Prosecutor

Three faced charges in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a woman they met in a bar.

Three men — including a (removed) — were charged Friday in the alleged sexual assault of a 24-year-old woman in Waldwick they met at a Teaneck bar, authorities said.

Myron Damus, 26, (removed), and Franklin Simmons, 24, all of Morristown, were arrested at their homes on two counts each of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said in a statement late Friday.

The trio met the alleged victim at an undisclosed bar in Teaneck earlier this month, Molinelli said. She immediately alerted Waldwick police and was treated at Hackensack University Medical Center following the alleged attack.

Authorities identified (removed) as a public safety officer at (removed).

The agency's spokesman said (removed) was suspended pending the outcome of the case.

The three were ordered held at the Bergen County Jail on $250,000 bail, with no ten percent option. The arrests came after a three-week investigation, Molinelli said.
