Cali Is New Providence's Pet Of The Week

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — Meet Cali! She has been chosen as New Providence Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"We took Cali into our family when she was already almost two years old. Volunteer adoption animal groups often have trouble placing cats who are not small or kittens, but we all fell for her immediately.

Cali was shy and reserved but was a calming presence for our family and was the undisputed alpha cat to her 'sisters' Uma and former 'New Providence – Berkeley Heights Pet of the Week', Roberta. Cali was a geriatric but has maintained her Buddha-like cool demeanor.

Cali passed away in June. We really miss her – and we can tell our other two cats do as well."
