Favorite Florist Winner: New Providence Florist

Picking should be easy when it comes to flowers. This week, residents voted as their favorite out of five florists in Berkeley Heights, Mountainside and New Providence. in Mountainside came in second, while in Berkeley Heights came in third.

New Providence Florist, which received 57 percent of all votes, is family-owned and operated, carrying a large selection of floral arrangements for gift-giving, weddings, funerals, anniversaries, birthdays and other occasions.

Located at 44 South St., the florist also sells candies, greeting cards and gourmet fruit baskets.

One customer, Angie L., reviewed the florist on Yelp! and said, "We've gotten flowers here on several occasions.  They're a solid florist and very accommodating.  The people I've dealt with have been very pleasant and helpful in choosing flowers for arrangements.  The location is convenient, though parking can be a little tricky as it is along the exit lanes of the shopping center."
