Local Justice: Decision in Municipal Court
The Municipal Court handled one criminal case arising in Berkeley Heights. There were no criminal cases arising in New Providence.

In State v. Victor Rodriguez, of Berkeley Heights, the State charged defendant with failure to remove garbage/debris from the exterior of his home. Defendant pleaded guilty. The Court imposed a $200 fine and $30 in court costs.
The Berkeley Heights and New Providence Shared Municipal Court convenes every other Thursday in the New Providence Municipal Center, located at 360 Elkwood Ave. The next court date is March 8, 2012.
