Long-Vacant Site Gets Into Shape With Health Club, Market

Work began this week on the new Fuel Fitness and farmer's-type market that are coming to the long-vacant Central Avenue site.

New Providence will welcome a new high-end health club and farmer's market-type store in the space formerly occupied by an A&P on Central Avenue, which has remained vacant for several years.

Work began at the site this week after both businesses received planning and zoning board approval earlier this summer, according to NJ.com.

The Fitness Factory will feature spin, yoga and pilates classes, group and personal training and amenities like steam room towel service and a juice bar.
