New Providence Police Investigate Saturday's Burglary on Pine Court
Burglary occurred between 7 and 11 p.m. Anyone who may have observed suspicious activity in that area on Saturday night are asked to contact the New Providence Detective Bureau.

were called to investigate a residential burglary on Saturday, which occurred on Pine Court in the northern part of town.
The residents reported going out at approximately 7 p.m., Deputy Chief Scott Torre said in a press release. Upon their return at around 11 p.m., the residents found their front door had been forced open.
Once inside, it appeared that the actor(s) entered the bedrooms and went through the drawers and jewelry boxes, Torre said. At this time, there is no value on the jewelry that was stolen. Detectives responded to the residence to process the crime scene for forensic evidence.

This matter is being investigated by the Detective Bureau. Anyone who may have observed any suspicious activity in the area on Saturday night are encouraged to contact the Detective Bureau at (908) 665-1111.
