New Providence Police, Rec Departments Host Fishing Derby
The annual fishing derby takes place Saturday, April 30.

New Providence Recreation, in partnership with the New Providence Police Department, will host the annual fishing derby on Saturday, April 30 at 8 a.m.
Community members are invited to bring their rods, reels and bait to fish for trout of varying sizes stocked in the Oakwood Park pond. Prizes have been donated by the New Providence Police Benevolent Association. Fishing is restricted to children 15 years of age and younger during contest hours. The cost to participate is $5 per person or $10 per family. Further information and online registration are available through the New Providence website.
