New Providence Resident Honored For Service as Sen. Kean's Intern
Sen. Kean's internship program, which Nick Palmer participated in this summer, seeks to instill in its students the importance of commitment and dedication in the field of public service.

Nick Palmer of New Providence was one of 12 interns recently honored for his outstanding service to the 21st Legislative District by Sen. Thomas H. Kean, R-Westfield.
Interns were awarded citations commending their hard work and dedication at the conclusion of the program, which ran from May to August 2011.
“Nick was an invaluable asset to my office this summer. Internships, I believe, act as a vital component of the education process," Sen. Kean said. "Our program engages students in a way the classroom cannot, providing them the opportunity to play an active role in state government."
