School of Rock to Offer Free Trial Classes for Young Rockers This Weekend In Union County

School of Rock Clark will offer free 30 minute trial classes for young rockers from 11a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 15.

School of Rock Clark will offer free 30 minute trial classes for young rockers on Saturday, August 15 from 11am to 4pm at its new location on 1173 Raritan Road in Clark. For kids ages three to five, the School’s “Little Wing” class is available. For kids in first and second grades, the “Rock Rookies” class is available.

“Our ‘Little Wing’ program features innovative weekly music classes for pre-schoolers,” says School of Rock Clark Director of Operations Art Lima. “It allows kids to explore rhythm patterns, tonal processing, basic music syntax, and make emotional connections to some of the greatest and most fun hits of rock n’ roll. With ‘Rock Rookies’, kids learn about various rock instruments, ear training, song structuring, and rhythmic patterns through games, focused skill practice, and group jams. Both classes offer fun ways for future rockers to begin a lifelong passion for music, as well as develop their social skills and kick start their creativity.”
