The Week Ahead: Movie Screenings, Career Workshop, Night of Dance
Plus, the Old Guard of Summit will host their weekly meeting on Tuesday, while the Boys' Varsity Basketball team has two big games on Thursday and Friday.

1. The will screen the movie "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" (2011) Rated PG-13, on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. For more information, visit newprovidencelibrary.org.
2. The Old Guard of Summit will host their weekly meeting on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. The meeting will feature a presentation called "Big Banks versus Small Banks," by Mort O'Shea, CEO of Hilltop Community Bank. 3. and Long Hill Chapel are hosting a 10-week workshop called Career Directions, which is intended for those who are currently out of work, those considering a career change and anyone just entering the job market. This week's seminar session, which will be held on Wednesday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church, is called "Resumes & Cover Letters - Develop & Refine the Optimal Resume & Cover Letter; Basics of an Electronic Resume for the Internet." 4. The New Providence Boys' Varsity Basketball Team will host Cranford on Thursday and play at David Brearley on Friday. Both games are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
5. United Way of Greater Union County is hosting their second annual "Night of Dance" this Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m. at The Berkeley Plaza. This event will feature dancing and dining with some of NJ’s finest ballroom dancers performing a variety of classic ballroom styles. Proceeds will benefit the United Way’s Special Response Fund, which serves emergency family needs in the Summit, New Providence and Berkeley Heights community.
