The Week Ahead: Read to Simber, Job Seminar, Crime Prevention Program

1. The will host "Read to Simber" on Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. Simber is a Bright & Beautiful Certified Therapy Dog, according to the library's website, and has passed the ACK Canine Good Citizens Test. She takes tracking and sheep herding classes. At this informal reading program, Simber and her handler Sarah Ehrlich will meet and be read to by children of all ages. 2. The is offering free seminars, "Finding The Job You Really Want," beginning Monday at 7:30 p.m. The job seminars will be offered every Monday through April 30. Topics are relevant to those who are unemployed, under employed, or who anticipate having to make a job change. The March 12 seminar will focus on Positioning Yourself in a Difficult Job Market and will be led by Lloyd Feinstein, founder of Career Marketing Consultants. No pre-registration is needed.
