Union County Manager Charged with DUI in Mountainside
Al Faella Jr. took over top job in August.

Union County's top manager was charged last Friday with driving while under the influence, Mountainside Police reported.
Borough Police Officer Jeffrey Stinner was on Route 22 west at approximately 11:45 p.m. on December 2nd, when he observed a Blue Ford Escape heading westbound shortly before turning onto Central Avenue.
Faella Jr., 56, the operator of the vehicle, and a resident of Mountainside, was pulled over and issued a summons for driving while intoxicated.

Faella was after the retirement of George Devanney. Faella was previously head of the county's park system and community development program.
A court date is set for Dec. 14th at Mountainside Municipal Court, in the Mountainside Municipal Building.
