Union Co. School Bus Collides With Vehicle In Berkeley Heights: PD

A school bus filled with children collided with another vehicle in Berkeley Heights Tuesday morning, authorities said.

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - A school bus filled with children collided with another vehicle in Berkeley Heights Tuesday morning, authorities said.

The crash was reported at around 7:20 a.m. on Hunterdon Boulevard and Glenside Road, Berkeley Heights police said. The bus was traveling west on Hunterdon Boulevard and came to a stop at the stop sign, police determined.

The accident occurred as the bus began to turn left onto Glenside Road and was struck by a second vehicle’s passenger side front quarter panel.

There were no injuries and the driver of the bus and the second vehicle drove away from the scene.

It was not immediately clear how many children were on board, or which school they belonged to.
