Where Are the Worst Potholes in New Providence-Berkeley Heights?
Patch readers named a number of streets around New Providence-Berkeley Heights that are dotted with potholes. Do you agree?

Although the weather is warming up, winter is still reeking havoc on New Providence-Berkeley Heights in a way many would not expect: Potholes.
Potholes develop after water from snow and rain seeps into small cracks in the roadway surface, according to state highway officials. As temperatures drop, the water freezes and expands, making the cracks larger, eventually forming potholes. Heavy traffic, pavement age, vehicle weights, and snow and ice operations contribute to the problem.
