Tree Crashes Through Home In Union County, See Inside: Report

Winds reached 60 miles per hour overnight in some parts of the state.

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — A tree fell into a home along Woodcrest Circle Monday night, according to News 12.

Strong winds also caused power to go out in the area for several hours.

At around 8:30 p.m., winds got as high as 50 miles per hour, and the tree crashed through the house.

"We opened the door and it was like apocalyptic," homeowner Keren Miseo told News 12. "When you walk out there and it's the debris, and the whole roof had kind of caved in."

According to News 12, the family and their pets were in the home, but nobody was injured.
