BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ — Meet Woody! He has been chosen as Berkeley Heights Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"Meet Woody a resident of Berkeley Heights. He is a MinPin with more energy packed into him than one can manage. He loves all his family members and friends and will just kiss the heck out of you when you come to visit. He also loves to meet new people. A constant cuddler he nestles himself on your lap and doesn’t want to give up the spot. A bit jealous of the cat he has to be told to share that lap. He is also a constant watch dog, launching himself at and jumping up to look out the door window to find out who stepped onto the property, he will jump and jump at the door, barking at whomever has stepped foot on the property from the postman to anyone he doesn’t know.

Woody loves to chase chipmunks and the occasional squirrel on his walks and in the yard. He does catch the chipmunks and let’s them go after he catches them. When he isn’t out hunting he takes a stuffed squirrel toy and swings it in tight little constant circles amazing anyone seeing him and causing you to laugh at the tough little guy. He thinks he has to protect you from big dogs and cars, so you always have to be ready to hold tight to his lease.

When the day is done and he has watched his last news show he beats Ann to bed and crawls under the covers. He guards her all night and is ready to walk and greet the school kids each morning.

Woody loves you with all his heart, just be careful if you think you want a cute little loving, very cuddly little MinPin, because they have so much more energy than most breeds."
