Le Danse

Le Danse is a contemporary dance studio offering professional dance instruction. Our staff consists of all professional instructors who are caring, creative and nurturing. Curriculum includes specialty Preschool Programs for ages 2-1/2 – 4 specifically designed for the toddler dancer and Childrens Workshops for ages 5-7. Classes include ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, hip hop and technique. Our specialty classes include Father/Daughter &amp; Mother/Daughter classes, Adult classes, Teen classes, Bollywood classes and choreography for Weddings, Sweet 16 &amp; Anniversary celebrations. The studio has an award winning competition team consisting of students age 4 through teen. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, yet disciplined and structured. Le Danse holds membership in Dance Educators of America since 1986. The studio has been voted People’s Choice Best Dance Studio in the Wayne community. Le Danse is where lifelong friendships begin. After months of rehearsals the students at Indian Hills High School debut their spring musical this week. The opening night performance of "Into the Woods" is Thursday, May 2 at 7 p.m. in the Indian Hills High School Auditorium. "I am beside myself wonderfully thrilled about this," said Indian Hills graduate and spring musical director Kim Marino. "The last time Indian Hills did Into the Woods, I was in it. The kids are ridiculously fantastic, very talented and they are amazing to work with." Students from Wyckoff, Franklin Lakes and Oakland are all involved with the play and students from every high school grade level are represented in the cast, crew and orchestra. The musical will also be performed in the Indian Hills Auditorium on Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4 at 7 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door and prices are $12 for adults and $10 for students and adults. There have been recent reductions in the arts programs in the Ramapo-Indian Hills district. All in attendance would be showing their support.
