Oakland Man Arrested After Police Find People On School Roof: PD
Blake Thomas, 20, of Oakland was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, police said.
OAKLAND, NJ — A borough resident was arrested after someone called police to complain about people being on top of the Heights Elementary School roof Aug. 11.
Sgt. Bart Pagerie and officers Jonathan Coleman and Robert Hintzen were on patrol when they responded to the school after police got the complaint, said Lt. Christian Eldridge.
Two people were found and one, Blake Thomas, 20, of Oakland was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, Eldridge said.

Thomas was arrested, processed, and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in Oakland Municipal Court.
