Even as last week's high temperatures begin to ease this week, the borough is offering up two municipal buildings for residents to keep cool from the summer heat.
The Senior Center will be open to all residents every day this week from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for those seeking a place to cool off.
The library, as always, is air conditioned and open to all residents, and will have the following hours this week: Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Borough health officials warn that residents should keep indoors as much as possible, and limit physical activity when outside during the day.
