She has become my best friend and we travel together and have a bond of trust and respect. She stayed on a couch for four nights in a hospital when I had major back surgery.

How has this made a difference in your 2025?

We went to Miami together to visit her son, and I have never felt so loved by both of them and a family member. She is always there for me and it is comforting to know.

What do you wish others knew about what you’re thankful for?

That you can get along with people. I am married to the husband she was married to. Just love people for who they are, or you could be missing out on a fabulous person.
