The Oakland Police Department is advising residents that for much of next week, Skyline Drive will be closed to through traffic due to a repaving project in Ringwood.
The paving will take place overnight, beginning at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and continuing until 7 a.m. the following morning.
According to an advisory by the Borough of Ringwood, the project will extend from the Oakland border to Oakwood Drive in Ringwood.

Oakland residents will still be able to use the road for local traffic, but will hit detours heading into Passaic County.
