Wyckoff Stop & Shop Unveils Dedicated Veteran Parking

Veterans from American Legion Post 57 in Waldwick and the Marine Corps League Lakeland Detachment 744 were on-hand when Stop & Shop honored those who have served our country with a designated veteran parking spot.

Wyckoff Stop & Shop Store Manager John Encke says the priority parking space will provide veterans with easier access to the store. “This parking space is a small way in which Stop & Shop can say thank you for the sacrifices and contributions veterans made on the battlefield, at home, and at outposts around the world. While we can never serve our veterans the same way they have served us, small gestures like this parking space allow us to show our appreciation.”

Stop & Shop also donated 50 Thanksgiving turkeys to the Marine Corps League Lakeland Detachment 744. The donation underscores the growing need during the holiday season of those who served our nation.
