THE WILDWOODS, NJ — Airshows are back at the Jersey Shore - it turns out that the Atlantic City will have one this year after all, and so will the Wildwoods. The free "Thunder Over the Waves" Airshow will be held Sept. 5 (practice day) and Sept. 6 (main event) on the beaches in the Wildwoods, presented by the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority (GWTIDA) and David Schultz Airshows.
Officials expect the four-hour show to draw more than 400,000 spectators to see 11 headlining acts.
“The Wildwoods are home to many family-friendly events year-round and we’re proud to add a longtime south Jersey tradition to our calendar of events,” Louis M. Belasco, GWTIDA Executive Director, said in a news release.
