OCEAN CITY, NJ — Wind gusts hit 65 mph in Ocean City during Tuesday night's winter storm that flooded communities statewide.

A wind advisory is still in effect until 6 p.m. Wednesday.

And another storm is in store for Friday, which could potentially bring further flooding and power outages to the area.

The upcoming storm doesn't appear to be as severe as Tuesday's, but you can still expect "isolated instances of tree damage and power outages" on Friday and Saturday and "minor coastal flooding" on Friday, the NWS said.

Here's the latest forecast for Ocean City.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 35. West wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 47. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 35. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Friday: A chance of rain, mainly after 4 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 53. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Friday Night: Rain before 10 p.m., then rain and possibly a thunderstorm between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m., then rain after 4 a.m. Low around 47. Windy. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
