A Lost Ring, a Frantic Search, a Happy Ending
Ocean City beachgoers and a stranger with a metal detector help couple find a lost engagement ring.
Sometimes the world seems too busy and too plugged-in to care.
But on Sunday on the beach near 16th Street, Eli Steward and Mary Jane Gallagher Steward discovered something quite different.
The couple had lost Mary Jane's engagement ring in the sand, and a crowd of complete strangers joined the search.
"I am astounded at the amazing response from people on the beach ... Jersey Strong!!!!" Steward wrote.
