
E. Charles Nusbaum IV, a 2010 graduate of Ocean City High School, was awarded a paid internship at the Institute for NanoBioTechnology at Johns Hopkins University for the Summer of 2012.
Nusbaum will be doing graduate level research on how nano-biotechnology can be used in medicine, primarily for the treatment of cancer.
He is an applied physics major at The Richard Stockton College, where he sits on the Board of Trustees as a student alternate. He was named Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. He is on the Dean’s List and Physics Student of the Year. He is a member of the Student Senate, Sigma Pi Sigma – Physics Honor Society and a member Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

He resides in Ocean City with his mother, Yolanda Verhoeven-Sutherland, and his step-father, Jeffrey H. Sutherland. His father, Edwin C. Nusbaum II is also a resident of Ocean City.
