Art of Surfing Festival Hits Ocean City Today

The three-day event takes place on the Ocean City Music Pier from Aug. 2 to 4.

Original artwork from some of surfing's biggest names will be part of the 12th annual Art of Surfing Festival that starts today on the .

The three-day event opens 5 to 11 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 2) and continues noon to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday (Aug. 3 and 4). Admission is free.

The festival features surf art on display and for sale, live music, a chance to meet artists, classic surfboards, memorabilia and more. For more information, call (609) 744-3229.
