'Battle At The Beach' Hosted In Ocean City This Weekend
Some of the region's top high school football teams will compete in the second annual "Battle at the Beach."
OCEAN CITY, NJ — Watch some of New Jersey and Pennsylvania's best high school football teams compete this weekend at "Battle at the Beach" held at Ocean City's Carey Stadium.
The second annual "Battle at the Beach" features 11 games from Aug. 26 to Aug. 28. It also kicks off the season for the hometown Ocean City Red Raiders with a game against Neshaminy (PA) at 7 p.m. on Aug. 26.
The event is three days of competition between some of the top football teams in the region.

“I want to welcome all of these athletes, coaches, families and fans to Ocean City,” Mayor Jay Gillian said. “I’m glad that our exceptional facility at Carey Stadium can host this new tradition, and I hope that everybody gets to enjoy all that Ocean City has to offer while they’re here.”

1 p.m. – Salem vs Cedar Grove
4 p.m. – Downingtown West (Pa) vs Highland
7 p.m. – Neshaminy (Pa) vs Ocean City
Aug. 27
10:30 a.m. – Wayne Valley vs Delran
1:30 p.m. – Toms River North vs Washington Township
4:30 p.m. – St. Peters Prep vs St. Augustine Prep
7:30 p.m. – St. John Vianney vs Red Bank Catholic
Aug. 28
11 a.m. – Thomas Jefferson (Pa) vs Millville
2 p.m. – Holy Spirit vs Cherokee
5 p.m. – Edison vs Cedar Creek
