Blaze Damages Multiple Buildings On Jersey Shore Boardwalk: Reports

Four buildings sustained damage in the blaze, which broke out around 4 p.m. on Friday, reports said.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — A two-alarm fire damaged multiple buildings on the Atlantic City boardwalk on Friday, according to multiple reports citing officials.

The blaze started around 4 p.m. at Peanut World, located at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and the Boardwalk, NJ Advance Media and The Press of Atlantic City reported.

Responding fire crews made "an aggressive interior attack on the building using forcible entry to the businesses," Chief Scott Evans told the Press.

Peanut World was closed at the time of the fire. Three nearby businesses sustained smoke damage in the blaze, reports said.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
