Dogs Get Their Day On The Ocean City Boardwalk This Weekend
Dogs are not only allowed, but encouraged to be on the Boardwalk this weekend - and don't forget the costume for the Howl-O-Ween parade.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — You're in for a paws-itively fun weekend in Ocean City as dogs are encouraged to come to the Boardwalk for the annual "Dog Day."
Leashed pets are invited from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. At 12 p.m. Saturday, the "Pet of the Year" will be crowned at Music Pier.
And make sure to dress Fido up, as Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. is the Humane Society of Ocean City's "Howl-O-Ween" parade, which marches from 6th to 14th Street on the Boardwalk.

Also, there will be dog-specific vendors and photo-op stations available.
There are no special events on Sunday, just what will hopefully be a beautiful day for you and your furry friends to stroll on the Boardwalk.

The Humane Society asks that pet owners keep an eye on their pets and be respectful - clean up after them, keep them leashed and keep them away from people without pets.
