Windsong on Wesley, a Dutch colonial built in 1907 at 1501 Wesley Ave., will be open for designer show house tours, and all of the proceeds from admission fees will benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for childhood cancer research.
The house, which served as the 2010 Ruth Newman Shapiro Show House at the Shore, has been completely refurnished with Coastal Living furniture from the collection of Coastal Living magazine. Visitors touring the home will receive Coastal Living bags and magazines. In addition, they will have a chance to win any of three furniture items to be given away by Coastal Living Furniture.
The show house will be open noon to 5 p.m. every weekend and holiday from Memorial Day through July 4. Tickets are $25 per person. Children, accompanied by a parent, may receive free hot dogs and lemonade from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. Hot dogs will be provided by Dietz and Watson. Special kids' activities will be held on Saturdays, also noon to 3 p.m.
