Fall Block Party To Return With New Twist In Ocean City
This year's Fall Block Party, one of Ocean City's premier events, will feature a new event:
OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City will host its popular Fall Block Party next month, with a new addition to the event this year.
The fun-filled weekend runs Oct. 11 through 13.
It kicks off at 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. Oct. 11 with hundreds of vendors lining Asbury Avenue from 6th through 14th streets.

While shopping, you can chow down on tasty food and enjoy live music.
Then when dusk falls, check out this year's new addition: a drone show at 8 p.m. These drones will light up the sky with images synced to music over the beach and boardwalk. This will be best viewed south of 6th Street.

All weekend, Saturday through Monday, enjoy Discount Days with savings downtown and on the boardwalk.
Also falling during this weekend is the 18th annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of OCNJ. On Oct. 12 join thousands of walkers in one of the nation's largest breast cancer movements. Learn more at www.MakingStridesWalk.org/OceanCityNJ.
The same day will see Spooks N’ Kooks Costume Surf Contest. Sign in at 7 a.m. on 7th Street Beach.
The entry Fee is a $20 gift card to ShopRite or ACME. All proceeds benefit the Ocean City Food Cupboard.
