Service times for the Cape May County Free Transportation Program have been updated in Ocean City:

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Service times for the Cape May County Fare Free Transportation Program have been updated as of June 2, officials said.

The change was to "better service Ocean City residents," according to officials.

The new schedule for Ocean City is as follows:

  • To: Cape May Court House, Rio Grande, Wildwood, North Cape May, Cape May
  • Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
  • Appt. Time: 11:30 a.m.
  • Return Time: 12:30 p.m.
  • From: Ocean City
  • To: Ocean City, Beesley's Point, Marmora, Palermo
  • Days: Wednesday, Friday
  • Appt. Time: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Return Time: One hour from appointment time (latest return 1:30 p.m.)

This service provides demand-response service to senior citizens, persons with disabilities, veterans, individuals of low-income and general public on a first come-first served basis. The five-day-a-week service provides residents the opportunity to make medical, shopping, and social trips for free.
