Free Rabies Clinic Set In Ocean City

City officials also issued a reminder about renewing dog licenses for 2023.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City is hosting a free rabies clinic on Jan. 21 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Ocean City Fire Department (550 Asbury Ave.).

Additionally, city officials issued a reminder about renewing dog licenses in the new year.

A current rabies certificate must be provided as well as proof of spay/neuter. The cost is $10 for all dogs that are not spayed/neutered and $7 for those that are.

Dog licenses are renewable in January, and renewal notices are sent the first week of January. Licenses may be renewed by mail, but if you bring your dog to the rabies clinic, you are asked to bring your renewal notice with you.

Any licenses not renewed by March 31 will incur a $4 late fee.
