Gritty And Philadelphia Flyers Caravan To Visit Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Gritty and the 2021 Flyers Community Caravan will roll through Ocean City on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

The 2021 Community Caravan will once again feature the Flyers own in-arena host Andrea Helfrich, Flyers alumni, the Flyers Ice Team and fan-favorite Gritty.

The Caravan will start on Asbury Avenue at Sixth Street and travel the length of Ocean City’s downtown to 14th Street. From there, the route moves up to the Boardwalk and will continue from 14th Street to 5th Street.

Fans attending this summer’s Caravan events will have the chance to get their hands on a lineup of exclusive Flyers-themed giveaways, including bucket hats, flip flops, sunglass straps, tank tops, beach towels and more.

This year’s event in Ocean City will be the first to visit the boardwalk since its inception in 2016. The 2021 Community Caravan will follow last season’s mobile-pep-rally style format throughout the summer-long event series deemed the team’s “Road to October.”
