Harry Klause Sentencing Postponed to Dec. 13
The future of the Ocean City car dealership remains uncertain.

Sentencing for an Ocean City car dealer who pleaded guilty to fraud has been postponed to Dec. 13.
Harry Klause, president and manager of Harry Klause Cars and Trucks at 1120 Asbury Avenue in Ocean City, had been scheduled to be sentenced in U.S. District Court in Camden on Friday (Nov. 15), but the sentencing was pushed back at the request of the court, according to William J. Hughes Jr., the attorney representing Klause.
Klause admitted in August that he participated in a scheme in 2008 and 2009 to defraud automotive lenders and customers.
Klause said on Monday (Nov. 18) that "we're here" at the dealership, but he said he could not yet comment further on the future of the business.
A new sign names the business "Ocean City Cars and Trucks," but there are no vehicles on the lot.
